In Egypt, the UN Women – ILO regional JP was implemented in partnership with the Ministry of Labour and the National Council for Women (NCW), with the generous support of the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida).
The programme aimed to promote productive employment and decent work for women by promoting equitable laws and policies, addressing the unpaid care, and engaging public, private and community actors to encourage women to enter all different occupations.
