أثبتت الدراسات الصادرة عن التقرير لعالمي للفجوة بين الجنسين أن الفجوة في الأجور بين الإناث والذكور تبلغ 29% وأن معدل النساء التي تشغل الوظائف الإدارية في مصر تبلغ 6% فقط. إلا أنه في حالة اتاحة فرص عمل متساوية بين الجنسين فإن هذا يؤدي إلي زيادة إجمالي الناتج المحلي لمصر بنسبة 34%. كما أن إيرادات الشركات التي تمنح فرص متساوية للترقي الوظيفي تزيد بنسبة 15-19% مع زيادة في أرباح المساهمين بنسبة 35%. يناقش هذا الفيديو المفاهيم المغلوطة عن الترقي الوظيفي للمرأة مع التركيز على أهمية منح فرص عادلة للترقي الوظيفي كحافز لدفع عجلة التنمية قدماً. تم إنتاج هذا الفيديو ضمن مشروع "دعم توظيف المرأة في القطاع الزراعي" الذي ينفذ تحت رعاية المجلس القومي للمرأة وهيئة الأمم المتحدة للمرأة والممول من الوكالة الأمريكية للتنمية الدولية.Studies of the World Gender Gap Report proved that the gender gap is 29% and that the percent of women in managerial positions is only 6% in Egypt. However, in case of equal job opportunities, the total GDP of Egypt would increase by 34%. In addition, the revenues of companies that provide equal opportunities for managerial promotion increase by 15-19% and shareholders’ profits would increase by 35%. This video discusses the misconceptions about women’s promotion and focuses on the importance of giving women opportunities for career advancement as essential driver for economic development and growth.
