#SpeakUp Campaign to End VAW: Sexual Harassment حملة #ماتسكتوش للقضاء على العنف ضد المرأة: التحرش

أطلقت هيئة الأمم المتحدة للمرأة وبالتعاون مع المجلس القومي للمرأة حملة بعنوان # ماتسكتوش لمناهضة العنف الاسري ضد المرأة. ويناقش الجزء الثاني من الحملة أهمية التصدي وتشجيع أفراد المجتمع في اتخاذ موقف صارم ضد هذه الانتهاكات ضد المرأة. وقد أصبح معروفا الآن ان العنف ضد المرأة يعتبر مشكلة خطيرة، ولكن يمكن الوقاية منها، إذا أصبح مسؤولية مجتمعية وبالأخص التحرش الجنسي والعنف الاسري لانهما أخطر أنواع العنف اللذان يقتضيان التصدي لهما.Speak Up: – PSA to End Violence Against Women - Domestic Violence UN Women's Egypt Country Office, in collaboration with the National Council for Women, has produced a campaign on Ending Violence Against Women called “Mateskotoosh” (‘Speak Up’), which addresses domestic violence . Part two of the campaign highlights the need for everybody to come together to end violence against women (VAW). There is growing recognition for VAW as a serious, yet preventable problem, given the right community commitment to it. In particular, domestic violence and sexual harassment are the two crucial forms of VAW that require people’s actions to stop. Referencing that the “Mateskotoosh” campaign is an attempt to mobilize society to take a stand against VAW, we are doing so collectively by supporting a culture of ‘Mateskotoosh’ (speaking up) and addressing the problem.
