"Government Services and Legal Navigator for Startups"
UN Women collaborated with the Ministerial Group for Entrepreneurship to develop the "Government Services and Legal Navigator for Startups", a comprehensive reference navigator consolidating all government services, permits, and licenses for startups. This officially endorsed navigator outlines required documentation, fees, and issuance procedures, while establishing a dedicated feedback channel to resolve implementation challenges and support administrative transparency.
The "Government Services and Legal Navigator for Startups" simplifies Egypt’s regulatory landscape by bridging the gap between formal legal texts and practical on-the-ground procedures. It serves as a strategic decision-support tool that enables entrepreneurs to anticipate compliance requirements and navigate overlapping mandates efficiently. This standardized approach reduces uncertainty and empowers startups to sequence regulatory actions with greater clarity and confidence.
This Navigator was produced within the framework of the “Rabeha” Joint Programme which is implemented by UN Women Egypt and UNIDO Egypt in partnership with the National Council for Women (NCW), the Ministry of Industry, and Micro Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency (MESMEDA) and generously supported by the government of Canada, represented by the Embassy of Canada to Egypt.
