This infographic highlights the main achievements of the Women’s Empowerment and Financial and Economic Inclusion in Rural Egypt programme which contributes to the National Financial Inclusion for Rural Women Programme “Ta7wisha” as of June 2025.

The Programme aims to reach 1.2 million women through 60,000 saving groups and 3,000 facilitators all over Egypt. It also aims to benefit rural women and women living at risk of poverty through increased savings, access to individual and group bank accounts, and skills development. The programme is implemented in partnership with the National Council for Women (NCW), the Central Bank of Egypt, UN Women Egypt, and with the support of the European Union in Egypt and the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
